In January 2010 I hooked up with Shawn from Supernatural and decided to share a booth with them at the NAMM shown in Anaheim, it was 4 days of drummimg mayhem but also an exciting experience where I learned how to engage with potential customers, we did the show again the following year and also the summer NAMM in Nashville.
A short time later due to a change in circumstances with Supernatural I decided to go out under my own name and so at NAMM 2012 I exhibited for the first time as Jon Cross Custom Drums, I attended the NAMM show over the next 5 years taking orders for both snare drums and full kits which kept me busy until 2018 which is when I decided to move back to England which was going to be the start of a new chapter for JCCD.
